drilling holes is easy, getting them in the correct place is the hard part :lol:

It's hardened D2 steel :lol: I'm actually having it done with a plasma cutter?!

Then that's the 090 done, onto the 051, don't suppose you have any inch dia ally bar rolling around? Only need 2 inches...

aah, that's even a struggle with tungsten tooling :laugh1:

 

i have 3.5 inches of 2 inch to hand, i have some smaller offcuts but they are buried in that corner under a pile of stuff ya know... ill have a rumage for you..

it would be 6063 t6 if i have any 1 inch stuff

found a bit of 1 inch diameter, the shortest bit i have is just shy of 4 inches.

is that any good ? :001_cool:

if you want it, you pay to pack n post it up to you and its yours.

these off cuts came from the scrap bin so they are free to me too :thumbup:

 

i get a big bag of off cuts containing alloy, stainless, ph bronze and delrin every now and then, very handy :thumbup1:

Chris . Do you have access to a spark erroder ?

My friend who has his business next door to me runs 3 wire erosion machines, would that be any good Stubby?

 

He will not work for free, but is quite reasonable.
