Would have been just as easy to get chainsaw milled boards out. I realise that the market might be different over there, but a butt like that is worth thousands milled here, and I hate to see good timber wasted.

Well you should see the wood we have to PAY to dump. Alot of oak, its really is a shame. I was just talking about wood to my dad, and he wondered if there was a way of shipping wood to Uk. Freight would be way too expensive to bother with I think. We could just dump it in the Atlantic and hope it arrives in Blighty! LOL
