advice on wheel clamps

Hi does anyone have any good advice on what wheel clamp to get for chipper? Got a second hand chipper and the fear of the bastard thieves has kicked in

Take the wheels off and fit some drilled plates like caravan winter wheel tyre savers if you are not using it every day.

We stock some but depends on wheel size.

Alko or bulldog locks are good mate

I personally use 2 bulldog ones even on-site sometimes.......but like any wheel clamp they can be cut of with a disc cutter. It's just a case of making it a hassle for them!!

When my chipper got nicked the barstewards left the wheel clamps. Still fully intact! God knows how they got them off!

yeah thinking i might just remove the wheels... only use it a couple of times a week. does anyone know if it would be ok to leave jacked up rather than use the winter wheel tyre savers. Thanks peat for the suggestion

Leaving it (safely) jacked up with axle stands would be fine.

Just make sure (obvious I suppose) the wheels are kept elsewhere
