got to remove a leylandii hedge soon its not got a TPO on it and its about 100m out side of a conservation area (so not in a conservation area.) its in a private garden and the owner owns the land ether side of the hedge (house-drive/parking-lawn-hedge-lawn-road) stumps are max 7" at the base trees are 20-25' tall and over 20' wide. pretty sure I don't need permission from anyone other than the owner but want to check as the village people like to complain a lot there

many thanks

The only other 'possibles', which may affect the hedge directly (as opposed to, for instance, nesting birds,) I can think of are:

1. Planning Conditions (Local Planning Authority issue)

2. Restrictive Covenant (Usually the original land owner altho often transferred to a legal practice)

Either way I'd put the onus, if you are going to enquire, on the hedge owner.

Cheers..

Paul

PS You'd best get it right as m, vague, recollection is that the 'Village People' included a Policeman.
