well i checked today, he paid 7.5k, that was with ram and everything.

im guessing that figure of 500kg payload btw. my ldv carries 1500kg and all i have is 2 and a half planks on the side, no chip body. 500kg was probably a bit of an exageration, but its not much more...plus factor in that more of the weight will be over the rear axles due to the tool box

Years ago, I used to buy in tipper bodies for about 2K off the peg. A bespoke alloy job with lockers cost 3.5K. Brit Tip can be well equipped but you pay big style.

A couple were a while in production too If I remeber Pete, though they were worth waiting for!

I can see how playload won't be much more than that with a 3.5t truck. I've no intention of getting a tip master body, just thinking into the future when (if) I ever have my own business (dreaming) :001_smile:

How much do you think the company would quote to build this?

Tipmaster

10K for a body like that on a 7.5 ton truck, I know the owners of Tipmaster, they built me a body several years ago, they are expensive, but they do a great job, me I have a couple of men who build bodies for me, much , much , much cheaper!

Why are you dreamers so concerned about a body you'll never charge enough to ever afford, imo it would be far better if you spent your time investigating plywood prices..:laugh1: heres a pic of the stamp of your adverage tree surgeons truck
