Hi guys as the title says I wanted to ask if it's possible to swap the standard metal rings on the first gen butterfly connecting the leg loops and bridge to the new gen shackles and bridge and put a swivel on.

Thanks

Gareth

Never realised it was first generation one you were asking about, I missed that bit!

So how old is it? As above it must be at the end, or over its service life.

Have you looked into fitting mallions?

Get a short length of 13 mm rope, tie a stopper knot in one end, feed through first ring, slide swivel on, feed through second ring, stopper knot on job done no need to cut anything off.

I'd post a pic but my butterfly is out on loan.
