we have been doing a fair bit of grinding in stony ground and the front of the shanks have been starting to wear quite a bit so i decided to put hardfacing on the nose of the shank to stop them wearing so much and also managed to sort out sharpening the cutters as well, the grinding wheel i got off ebay cost about £14 and it works pretty good I've done about 40 sharpens and there is very little wear on the grit
