As title says, is it honey fungus?

And why is it only on the large Rowan trees?

First pic is Pholiota, second one might be honey fungus, looks like A.mellea but not sure from the pic, third pic is sulphur tuft. Pholiota and sulphur tuft are saprophytes which is why their on older trees where some of the root plate might have gone and died.

I should also point out when I say large, the Rowan are between 18-24" at ground height, I was sat on a machine when I took the photos
