Going to hurst castle tommorrow to repair the generator. Had a look on their web site looks worth a visit and good reviews. You can walk the spit or take the ferry for £5.50 return. £5 to get in I think. The closest point to the isle of wight.

good shout..nice, Highcliffe castle also has nature reserve to walk through. Also close to mudeford key....pub on the Quay...also fishing trips and foot ferry to hengisbury head.

Second 'Moor Valley Country Park' for family day and the 'Alice lisle' for atmosphere & welcome. If you find yourself in B'mouth, 'The Ink Room' does excellent food in an unusual setting. Not cheap though and if you're thinking of an evening meal, you'll have to book.

Well our holiday is over :( had a fantastic time down in the forest And none of us want to go home. Packed loads in thank you for your suggestions I think we managed to get to most places in the our short stay. Now having a quick stop over at the in laws in Basingstoke then home tomorrow.
