Right all I'm in need of a new climbing line. I am looking at the 11.7mm ropes and have found the Yale Hedera 11.7mm and was wondering if you guys have any reviews on it?? It sound like it is a nice rope being as it is fairly static. Pros and Cons will be much appreciated and thank you in advance.

I have the hedra, its great on SRT but if you use it on DRT (yes I know you shouldn't) it hocks up a bit but nothing you cant live with.

It started off a bit nubby but its smoothing off nicely now.

I have climbed on a few different marlow ropes and just find them way too bouncy for my liking.

The rope i put the link to n the first post can be used in DdRT. The 11mm version shouldn't be used. There are three different Hedera ropes, the 11mm SRT, the 11.7mm DdRT or SRT and the 13mm DdRT or SRT.
