yes you can buy loose tea and if you want a good cuppa get amhad tea english breakfast i have not still had a better cup of tea. tried the lot but theirs is the rolls of tea. but for daily use as there is a number who drink tea like its going out of fashion yorkshire tea and after electric kettle packed up now use large metal kettle on gas cooker and can not say it tastes any different. if you want a decent teapot as well whitards do some good teapots

thanks i have been looking on ebay for a decent teapot but there all to gay for me i want a mans pot not all flowery etc and thinking does arbtalk do coseys ?? i will try the tea out you named >> amhad english breakfast thanks

 

who whoo just found a propper bodum glass loose leaf tea pot bidding on it now wish me luck i,lle be dead posh with it if i win i will have to cock my finger up when i take a sip lol

two things now on this topic do supermarkets sell a decent teapot and is loose tea still sold say pg tips loose and is it the same as the stuff in the bags ?? as in could i rip some bags open to try when i get a tea pot etc advice please thankyou

 

We use Co-op 99 loose leaf tea, it was good enough for me mam and dad it's good enough for me. Made in a pot teapot proper like.

Aww thanks mate for the offer i,am still looking i retracted my bid on the glass bodum teapot its seemed a bit fradgile and the spout was a bit poo looking on google etc.I,am going for one i can sit on a trivet i just hope its the way to go and maybe get a cosey for it as i dont think you can beat a good brew especialy when i get a visit from some waff n stray passing lol
