cramer chipper HS450

Does anyone have any experience of a cramer HS450 chipper. I brought one a couple of years ago but never used it much. The problem I have with it it does not self feed like the the other gravity feed chippers I have used. You have to push every bit right into it. The blades were new when I got it and seem sharp but just wont pull material in.

Has anyone used one of these chipper and are they all like it?

Another local tree guy to me had the updated hydraulic version and that little bugger was really nice to feed . Although slow it had the advantage of being fitted to a 4 wheel trolley so it could be used for back garden chipping . Max 4" but 3 " was more realistic . Im sure SCH Supplies did an after market hydraulic kit ? :001_smile:
