362 or 560???

:thumbup1: Yes, they are rather heavy and bulky 1. generation "strato" saws, and on top of that the handling is adversely affected by the inboard clutch design! Slow trigger response as well.

 

Those saws simply are a total turn off - and I actually like the 361....:001_rolleyes:

 

It's BS about the clutch affecting handling of a saw, the distance is too small, what affects the handling is stihl's strato engines on these 2 saws is appalling, they should have redesigned them now they've got the hang with the bigger saws!

It is very far from BS, it is reality - remember the effect of the bar sitting further away from the centre of gravity of the powerhead. :wink:

Umm. Neither the MS 261 nor the 362XP are Strato/AutoTune saws.

The 362 in question is the MS362, not the 362xp. The MS261 and the MS 362 both are "strato" saws, but heavy and clumsy first generation ones.
