The trouble with Youtube videos....

The problem with the internet is that anyone can publish anything and there are some people who believe that because something is on the internet it must be true.

 

Supposing this particular person had followed a video posted by someone who didn't know what he was doing and it ended differently?

If someone followed an Internet tutorial on such an dynamic activity as this and injures or even kills themselves then it was their own free will that got them there. Its the same freedom that allows someone to post a video in the first place without fear. You cannot regulate freedom so easily, and you cannot protect against stupidity.

Were does it say he took weeks ?

 

I doesn't, just a hunch that he did not get up one morning and think "I am going to cut that down" watch numerous youtube videos, go shopping and have it down by lunch.

 

The fact he is still alive suggests to me he actually did a fair amount of research and used equipment that was fit for purpose. A bit of luck may have helped to.
