Looks like you and the Missus had yourselves a grand time.

 

Pleurotus looks like P.cornucopiae .

My 15-year old boy tells me these are known as carbon balls? Does that sound right? I would guess so as the ones he showed me were also on ash and he used them to great effect drawing boobs on a trunk ring!

 

Daldinia concentrica, the coal fungus, carbon balls, cramp balls, or King Alfred's cakes, to name but a few..:001_smile:
