there are others, you did not try yet. If you went the cheapest road, that's what you got. We are definitely not the cheapest importers, but our logs are premium quality. We don't take upfront payments, so you get to see what you buy before you pay. We guarantee the moisture content to be under 25%internal. And kindling is sold as separate item lol. Please don't talk about everybody, until you try everybody. cheers Dan

Sorry if i have offended you, you must be the one i never tried, i have imported logs for 10 years now and never found the service and quality to be up to scratch, we did not buy cheap, the quality of the logs was shocking, i am currently looking for a supplier of kiln dried logs as our kiln can not keep up with the demand, as you do not take upfront payment there is no risk, i am an honest chap and want to deal with honest companies, if your are as good as you say please pm me some prices, i am looking for 2 loads per month initially. Many thanks

Also could you please supply me with the names of the people you have supplied in the uk, just to check your logs and service, a lot of firewood suppliers will not touch imported wood for the reasons I have stated, if myself and others can verify your quality this will give your sales a boost :001_smile:

No offense taken sir. I know that many suppliers had some bad experiences with imported logs. Sometimes its just false expectations, but most of the times its indeed crap they bought. I just get tired of facing this preconception that "all imported logs are rubbish", which is clearly not true. Sorry but I am not giving a list of my customers to anybody lol, but I could give you few names and numbers of our regulars in pm if you wish. will pm you shortly. Dan

I have talked with a few Baltic based companies and Premium Wood were the most helpful. I was going to place a trial order but it does require a pump truck to offload from a sea container that I don't possess, so in the end I couldn't follow through with the order.

Be keen to hear from anyone that has used Premium Wood because if people keep asking silly prices for cord I'm going to either pack it in or get myself a pump truck and start buying in already processed firewood.

Pump trucks are not dear, try Stanley Handling, I have had one of theirs for 4 years, faultless.
