I think it was a brill idea, even if only to do it the once 'because we can'.

A big consideration for BTS though would be insurance cover. I'd be up for it re the final leg of the journey but I only have 3rd party cover on anything trailed.

Could it be possible though for the owner to arrange a one off premium giving him the cover he needs at a cost that still made the endeavour worthwhile?
