I think someone has the impression that the HCC course is all you need. Apologies if that's not the case.

The HCC course provides you with the theory to do the exams. HCC and ABC are not affiliated and you have to arrange the exams through a local college. It's certainly a good way of doing it if you can handle not having many people to tap up for info, but completing the HCC course doesn't get you the ABC theory nor the RFS cert.

So have we got a definitive answer on this yet?

 

Does the HCC course get you the theory side of the RFS Cert (I know there are practical units to do before you get the full RFS Cert).

 

I started the RFS Cert through Myerscough online last September but had to pull out in March this year due to personal problems. I had totally underestimated how much time was needed to fullfill the criteria for each module. Im looking at the HCC one as you have 2 years to complete it rather than the 1 year with Myerscough.
