Just been thinking today what rates we all get around uk. So would like to know what you guys get and where abouts you are.

 

Around here in sussex it's generally £15 per ton hardwood for firewood and 11-12 for softwood. For that its obviously cut to length and stacked.

HI ELMS so whats the standing rate near you then for hard wood thanks jon :thumbup:

Hi stubby nope not for him.

 

I used to cut for woodwise but now do cutting for a chap near battle.

 

Who is mark Odin? Will cut for him if he needs it or anyone for that matter!!

 

M.J.O. Forestry . West Dean West Sussex . Mostly felling on West Dean and Goodwood estates .

Yes I hand cut Jon, one day I maybe be able to move up the ladder and own my machines but won't hold my breath on that one!!

 

You need a cutter then??
