Leaking grommet on hedge trimmer fuel line.

I was just thinking about botching it to use today. I am mean but not so tight not to spend the price of a new grommet

Worth buying a selection box, a few quid on ebay, for when the need arises. Don't you always find that everywhere is shut when you need it now. Job stops for an item that retails at twenty pence:sneaky2:

Anyway you can wrap insulation tape around it and push/wedge it back in to atleast help restrict it?

Toolstation sell the small mixed box of grommets and are open today likewise screwfix.

Ive got some I believe but will prob cost you more in fuel to get one than what you will waste lol.

I have moved onto some chain maintenance now as it's lashing down outside. Good to know Toolstation do the boxes of grommets as always ordering from them.

The rain eased a bit the chains are sharpened so tried a bit of insulation tape and it's worked a treat. Been out and had a bramble massacre

"Seal all" is what I use on fuel based problems, it is resistant to fuel and works pretty well!
