Cheers ....picked up a stencil so at least things same size got dremel plunge router 335,coming so will give beginers

feed back on it . Enjoying playing , sure will be better with proper router base rather than a bit of plastic for a base on the bottom of current set up. Still have

view of bigger & better kit cheers guys

Well time has passed, and things have progressed a little, been getting better , been doing ok with plunge router fitting on Dremel copy. but looking at getting better router as I said before.

I checked out the screw fix link you sent me muttley9050 in early post what others would be good anyone just so I have something to compare with,

looking for plunge router, no wiser about "bits" as yet so any help there would be great.

 

the few "signs/name plates" Ive asked to leave have all been greeted with what a good idea, there good , etc... so pleased so far, as you can see from pic below, just nice n rustic

Looking nice mate, looks like your getting the hang of it :-) . I've just got a makita rto700cx2 router which also comes with a plunge attachment uses 1/4 bits, nice and light. I use it for my more fiddly bits like small trees. At the moment I use straight flute twin cutter trend bits, really you don't need to go any deeper than 5mm Max .
