I use a wee green Kangoo and the Sidewinder is a tight squeeze but it goes in with the front seat down, no room for passengers. Alloy ramps on the roof and all the kit inside. Lash it down tight as 300kg+ rolling around next to you is a bit of a risk.

Empty, the Kangoo will do 1000km on a tank too

Regards

Ty

I got a Peugeot Expert .

It's got the wheelchair ramp in the back and its perfect.

I found that wheelchair converted vans are cheaper and invariably have lower mileage and have been less abused.

Mine had 25,000 miles, years MOT , 03 reg for about £2k.

I can get my predator 450 in it - just had to remove the 4th seat now back in but moved over 2 inches.

40 mpg

Never looked back.

Cheers for your reply's.

I was looking at the vw caddy but nice to hear the kangoo seat goes down to get the grinder in.

Was considering a pickup as it doesn't matter if it's quite a small one and have a bit of overhang. What's swayed me a bit was getting a saw and blower nicked a couple of months ago so I've gone a bit mad with security.

Cheers again Jim
