Have you looked into pantographs Ian, Love the fact your stuff is freehand but you could really boost productivity with either a straight forward one for drawing on the wood or a router one for superfast output.

Cheers I'll look into it, now I use carbon copy paper it speeds things up. The recent on I've done took me about 1 1/2 hrs, It's taken longer for the varnish to dry.
