50" Oak vs STIHL 090 and me

Had this real nasty knuckle head of a tree to fell for a friend of mine.

was riddled with wire nails, staples more wire and more nails! would of been worth more as scrap value rather than log value!.

films takes a little while to load, as its 11min in total.

not sure if this will link to it or be in line on here.

HI BEECH has 090 got more power then a 880 then mate jon :thumbup:

 

and some.

the final slab cut in the video was a full 48" wide, cut down the grain without ripping chain, was dogged in real hard with double hand rear handle lift and it did not bog down. running a 7 pin sprocket of course. awesome old school grunt :biggrin:.

that thing cuts like a coke dealer :001_tt2:
