I've been and bought a length of hitch cord to save some money. In my naivety I bought a 1 meter length thinking it would be fine. But with my fishermen's it looks a bit short. So. How long a length of cord do you guys buy??

It takes about at least 48" to 52" to make between a 27" to 32" prussic cord....need approx 10" for each double fishermans knot....using 8mm ( 5/16"th ) cord....never used 10mm....

Approx 1.5m for me, after the fishermans are it gives a nice size for my knut:thumbup1:

Lovely thank you very much the Knut is my knot of choice. I should have specified that in the original posting.
