Making the transition to srt full time at the moment, trees im working on seem to be getting bigger and i spend most my time when climbing thinking, if i was on srt i could do it this way man that would be easy... doh.

Just nice to see what you all carry on an average climb just for srt use, i know every tree is different and every job is different but roughly. Im currently at:

2 slings

fig 8

hand ascender

Not on my harness includes the obvious

sling and krab for chest harness

pantin

Will be nice to see how much or how little people are taking up

Generally;

Hand ascender, big anchor ring (assorted uses), fig 8 (just incase), 1x crab (ddrt descents) 2x revolvers, one with 30 cm sling. If I need another clipped redirect I'll take off my chest loop (120cm sling). That's about it.

what are the big anchor ring uses dude?

Fimblesaver for top anchor, 2 stiched prussic loops of different sizes with a revolver in each being prussic they are more versatile than a sling, an ali ring with krab, a small throwbag, pantin and chest harness are worn throughout climb

Pantin

Small krab for pantin hole

Neck loop for advancing hitch.

How are you setting up your final anchor with a mallion, im still on running bowline, behind the times ay

I use srt just for getting near my anchor point in a big tree, then changing to Sj+r guide(silky smooth). I use a double hand acender, sling, croll and pantin. Thinking about getting a foot loop. And I'm tempted to try sj with a rope wrench.
