All sounds good (and personally quite familiar - excluding spending all my weekends volunteering, although I am a volunteer tree warden) I don't consider karlk's comment as "rude", I was thinking pretty much the same! Get on, set yourself up, that's not rude, that would be the best course of action. You'll see plenty of posts/threads on here moaning about low wages in Arb in comparison to the tickets/quals/experience required to make a living, but be in no doubt, the jobs are charged out at a fair rate, it's the company bosses that are paying poorly for the skills of their staff. If you really do have the energy, determination & passion you allude to, get out there; set the world on fire!

realy enjoy felling trees, we all have things we enjoy, but getting paid for it is a different ball game. this industry is becoming a complete and utter joke, every tom dick and harry thinks there gonna drop trees and sell fire wood, and we wonder why all the jolly foreigners are coming over for work.[/

So are you having a dig at the OP. Or are you having a dig at the industry itself. Or is it the way that many countries in Europe let us all travel across borders to find work?

and where are you gonna find work in europe?

Got plenty of mates working over in Germany ATM. So that answers that one. I personally have worked all around Europe in the past. Granted many years ago.
