Not come across this sort of thing before, you wonder how they'd vet bidders, personally I'd be a bit worried if the winner showed up with a Fiesta and a B&Q saw....

Why would no felling licence be needed?

 

That seems odd to me.

 

Would the checks have gone some thing like this

 

Him, I have a few trees in my garden that I want to cut down

them, thats ok nothing needed

Do they look "mature" to you lot?

 

Or good enough / large enough to be worth milling?

So we have to start paying customers for the pleasure of removing 'mature' trees now? The access sounds a bit dodgy as well, im sure someone will make a fortune carting it all to the timber mill in a 4x4 or flatbed transit!!

removal off nearly 50 ton off timber & no felling liesense ? i find that hard to believe ,someones going to get shafted me thinks:thumbdown:
