Interesting thread.

 

I have a 2001 625 petrol engine and that is single roller and its never really caused us any problems, in fact the thing is so bomb proof that it needs very little maintenance really only 2 grease nipples and that's about it.

Yes it has problems with forked stuff but that's what a chipper saw is for.

 

However.... I want one!!!

I would like to trade mine in but I would need to get a folding/ shorter draw-bar as it just wont fit in my garage, the 625 only just fits!!

 

I know that Thorne engineers have a reconditioned one for £10,000 plus vat. which is maybe a bit steep but it is fully reconditioned.

 

Anyone seen any others for sale??
