I'm pleased you like it. There's a few bigguns in the hedgerows around Suffolk - having seen Monkeyd's thread I might see if I can find a new champion... don't hold your breath though.:001_smile:

Yeah, t'would be nice to actually have some photos in there :biggrin:

This being the 1st time I've looked at this thread, waaaay back on your opening pics Dave, I cant help wondering if originally there was a beech hedge planted beside the gate, and the remaining tree beside the gate was a result of the rest of the hedge being removed? I doubt a tree would have been intentionally planted at the time of the brick gateway, but a hedgerow would have made sense (to me!!) just a thought.

It's a possibility Andrew.

Though I would have thought, (as I don't have access to that particular original boundary/sites archive) that the side flange walls seem to suggest that there was a continuation of the boundary along the plane of the arch & not behind it

More importantly, if this really is the first time you've trawled through this mightily impressive thread, then;

1/ Shame on you !

& 2/ who's modding this mod. :sneaky2::biggrin:

The power is awesome, we have to spend a manditory 45 mins per day in a recovery pod, otherwise we are liable to implode with the force.

You really are superhuman mate:thumbup1:

I dont think I could stand the responsibility. Although being able to delete obscenities at the touch of a button, is a mighty power to have.

You should really have a cape, and some kind of superhero slogan as your signature. Although if you are going to be a superhero, you're gonna need a bigger bike:lol:

It's beter that they remain ignorant of the battle.
