the bloody thing will not start, checked everything and there doesnt appear to be anything wrong. what should i do , only had the saw since january.

but it only gets used every couple of weeks as im at college still. so they cant have worn out?

it ran perfectly last weekend.

well was running on 50:1 . i dont understand why, i may just change the plug and see what happens , if not will have to get it looked at i suppose.

What do you mean by will not start? Does it sputter? Is there smoke? Does the saw not do anything at all? Pull the plug: Is it wet, dry, or oily?

 

If there is no response at all, check to make sure the spark plug cable is securely connected. Check to make sure the on/off switch contacts have not become fouled. Check to see if the ignition coil has vibrated loose. Check the plug to see if there is spark.

 

Check to make sure you did not put the oil in the gas tank (sadly I am speaking from experience here).
