I've just got an Iphone 4s and am a bit concerned about wrecking it. Has anybody tried one of these: Otterbox Armor Series? I know the Otterbox Defender is well reviewed on here but I like the look of the Armor as its waterproof as well. Downsides I suspect are it looks bulky and is expensive.

Any thoughts?

James

I've used the Otterbox series for several years, I dropped my phone 40feet onto concrete and it stayed intact. However these days I have a JCB tough phone for work, and just forward my calls, saves the expensive mini computer phone getting knackered.

I like my otter box defender for my iPhone 5, I have had a waterproof phone before and found it awkward to use. It was a life proof case and the headphone adaptor broke. The otterbox you are talking about looks ok though but maybe a bit bulky. You are welcome Jon mate.:)

I`ve got a defender for my galaxy s3, which is a fragile phone.I`m clumsy acomplished killer of phones, and its survived no problem, several drops on concrete. It a four piece system, which is splashproof, but wouldnt survive imersion, however the belt clip carrier keeps it well out of the way.

Be carefull where you buy as theres a lot of fakes about.I paid about forty quid with it in realtree blaze. Some of the cheap deals on ebay etc are likely to be fakes.
