old style tractor value

evening all.

sort of in the market/just looking/sounding out, for old style tractor,

bit of splitting, post thumper, topper.

only because it very local to me , just seen this on that well known site

as I say only looking and learning at the monent, is this fair, average far to much??

£500.... a fair condition running tractor is worth £2000 plus!!

but no rear link arms means no 3 point linkage....???? look how much it would cost to get the bits to make it semi complete and then decide.

That one is a bit of a nail for that kind of money, you will need pick up arms and a bucket for that trip loader.....trip loader,..... nasty

This would be a candidate for me, I have owned a few Browns and know the marque. This one has the late model power steering but the loader isn't the best, a "power down" loader with hoses at both ends of the ram would be better

Just my input. A lot of older tractors won't have the hydraulic umph to power splitters and post knockers, however if this is the case you can get a pto hydraulic pump and reservoir.

Also if you are planning on running a knocker you do want a bit of weight in the tractor so I wouldn't go for anything too small. I run a knocker on my 70hp 4x4 zetor and I'm not sure I would want much smaller on hills unless its a very light knocker which is self defeating!
