Gentlemen,

I have some brand new Stihl parts for a 066 namely:

new barrel

new piston

new clutch assembly (complete, new model)

Plus the rest of the saw for spares if anyone is interested. (New choke linkage, chain brake handle replace last year.....)

Reason for sale: There is a hole in the crankcase which I did not know about before setting about the dismantling/re-build of the top end. As the saw has had a productive life I've decided to cut my losses as splitting/rebuilding crank makes no real sense plus a lack of time, kit and skills. (You might ask how come a hole I did not know about. Long story of ineptitude - not mine!)

Located East Kent (Ramsgate.)

PM or phone landline only if interested for more details....

Now there is another issue. What about selling parts on. Can they be posted.... If I sold a saw on arb trader would it have to be collected so I could show them how to use it???

If I was brave enough (and I'm not) I would call a jihad on the Stihl stall at the arb show.

Note to MI6 - that was not a real suggestion.

Will they have a stall there?

Guys,

Haven't a clue what you are talking about, with references to 3rd June!! Just wondering - respectfully - if anybody interested and looking to claw back a bit of dosh as had a change of plan.

Enlighten me someone?? !

Just boycot the stihl stands at shows.

I'm a stihl man through and through or I was. Now I'm undecided. Can't carry on loving a saw company when they go and do something like this.

Check out the othe trip thread in forum about stihl changing policy again.
