I think it's one of the Caraveggie shredders made in Italy and imported by Arboreater. Has it an air cooled Hatz 3 cylinder engine?

 

Basically the chamber contains some flailing hammers and the green waste travels down the one side and then after the hammers have shredded it small enough it passes the screen travels up the conveyor (output and input are swappable).

 

Good for things like brambles garden waste and horticultural waste not really capable of shredding chunks of wood. If the hammers don't swing freely it is an interesting few ours with a hammer and oxy propane torch to free them.

 

Spares are available for the lovely Lucy but expensive.

I,ll l double check , it mite of bin put on , think I'm going to get it 4 hundred pound. Think it's worth a go

Its got a radiator so it wont be hatz, if it is a cummins 4 B series the engine is worth waaaay more than 4 hundred

looking at it that's engine looks a tad small to be a 4B

The feller how's got it said it was a Italian machine with John deer engine the cummins one , think its got to be worth ago , if it is cummins

is it an early arboreater ? if so link here About Us if it ha a series of laser cut rectangular flails and a sieve at the back they were good at shredding green waste, looking a bit tired the one above though
