There's a surprising amount of firewood merchants in Suffolk! I drive about in the region and there's stacks dotted about everywhere and If I get a climber in they seem to have just been x cutting for the local vendor!

 

Good though as it keeps prices stable:biggrin:

I'm well out of the logs Ben. That's why I said. Just out of interest. Never know what next winter will bring.

harsh winter again and i reckon you'll be running the odd load out again! yeh not to bad thanks, just moved to near newmarket and in process of setting up another log yard. Really enjoying stuff!

Been very busy in the last few months. But I don't like putting all my eggs in the same basket. Always trying to think ahead

 

You bought the yard near to Newmarket that is/was on the market ?

crikey i wish! no, my GF moved out here for her work and im hoping to build a relationship with the landowner and help with his woods etc. he is keen for me to build my firewood here
