HitchClimber Friction hitch system - HELP

Just received my bits from honey bro's. Here's a good one, I ordered the armor prus 8mm in a 3m length. they sent me 2 meters with a note saying they will send me another meter when it's back in stock. I guess they forgot to question whether I would be cutting it into two 1.5m lengths haha. I rang them up and they agreed to send me another 2 meters.

Also they haven't done a very good job of cutting it to size. looks more like they have wrapped a bit of tape round and cut it with a hack saw. I would have expected them to have at least used a heated rope cutter.

Or am I just been fussy here?

Anyway looking forward to giving it a go this week.

Seems I jumped the gun a little. I discovered exactly what you had said. I managed to tidy it up a bit. just re-wrapped with tape, cut with a sharp knife, a little heat and then a dab of waterproof super-glue to seal the end up a bit better.
