6 month work placement needed around west yorkshire

I am 17 years old, i go to Askham Bryaqn college york. I need to get hold of someone that could employ me for 6 months as part of my course (National Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture). I already have my CS30 and are starting working towards CS38, also i hope to have passed my driving test soon.

Get the old yellow pages out and start ringing round a few people, there's even a couple of tree surgeons in garforth; also every time you hear chainsaws or hedge trimmers running just take two minutes to check it out and ask if the boss is around and if they need any help atm. There's plenty of firms round this side of leeds, just a matter of finding one who has the work on. I'm more of a garden maintenance firm who does a little bit of tree work as and when. Is Graham still the technician in the arb dept at ABC, if so give him my regards although he'll know me as jim rather than penfold.
