Camping

Yea that's the problem, there is a nice area about 5 miles from where we all live where we did our DofE so might just try to find a quiet field as its just for the one night, maybe two at the Max!

Find a friendly farmer and bung him some cash, used to do it all the time. Or join the Scouts, they've got some of the best campsites in the country, and cheap.

If you've done DofE you'll fit right in

Me and about 8-9 friends want to camping in the summer holidays after we have finished are GCSEs.

We want a fire and to be within walking distance of a shop.

What is the best way to go about it, a campsite, we would really want to camp just in a field or forest and was wondering if that was even possible? And if so what places are there?

We will all be 16+ and was wondering if that would be a problem without an adult there?

Thanks

Jack

re finding a wood to camp in be careful at moment illegal raves going on and police are looking out for people in numbers going in woods. hate for you to be picked up just to enjoy yourself. have a word with a county scout group to see if you can use their site. if you promise to leave it clean and fires out should be ok very good one near winchester cracking spot very quite and not near houses. and near to shops if you need them not a walk but 5 min drive
