Well I had an argument earlier and logging camps were brought up etc etc.

 

 

To set the record straight there Logging camps are from the bygone age. They exist only now in books and the memories of the old timers. The days of the big Company has gone. Yes Weyerhaeuser is still massive as are a few others but they contract out now to gypo's on contract. It cut throat and the glory days are gone.

 

 

My late Grandfather logged from a camp in OR but that was long ago now.

 

 

I go on the road but that just me guess I'm what years ago would be called a tramp logger

 

 

 

No replies to this necessary lol just setting the record straight.

 

 

 

Oh they do camp in Alaska and some places in Canada but not now (that I know of) in the lower 48

Your first post here concerned how the language had left you behind but you keep saying stuff I don't understand

Think he's talking about American States - the 48 contiguous states i.e. not Alaska & Hawaii.

Yep lol we call it that as the guys from Alaska keep telling us we the lower 48 guys and only they fall the big stuff now lol.......Which is probably true but then the Cannucks jump in and eh well ya get the picture lol

LOL a cruiser hmmmm they not the most popular folks, For the most part Foresters do that job now and they butt heads with loggers regularly and I mean REGULARLY lmao
