Pantin with Hitch Climber

Hi All.

 

I am currently using a hitch climber set up on DdRT and I was thinking about investing in a pantin to make the long hauls a bit easier on my arms.

 

Would you guys reccomend this or is it not really worth the investment?

I use hitchclimber and pantin, works for the long hall and when you need to get back through a union

Ah right that Is what I would like to get one for. I'm wondering whether it is best to get a right or left one. Or is that just down to preferance?

one of the must haves in any climbers kit imo.

I have a right one as I'm right handed.. however I have considered buying a left so o can spread the burn :D

Go for the non dominant foot, gives the other leg the work out

When I climbed DdRT a Pantin was the best item in my kit.

Money well spent.

I use a pantin along with hitchclimber.A good piece of kit,well worth the investment.

I use my pantin on almost every climb, unless its a piddler. You won't regret buying one!

Get one, why wouldn't you want to use your leg muscles as well as your arms it makes ascending so much easier
