Climbing rope bag for harness.

Hi all.

I was competing at the East of England Cutters and Climbers Comp last weekend and I noticed that a fair few climbers had small bags on the back of there harness for their side line to keep it out of the way. I'm getting a bit fed up with my side line getting tangled so I am interested in getting one of these bags. It looked like they all had the same type of bag so I was wondering if any of you guys would be able to let me know what bags these are?

Cheers,

Jake

You can get small silver bull bags from noddy at tree worker. Or the rope tech sidewinder, it's like a retractable dog lead for you lanyard....

What length of rope is the small silver bull bag able to hold?

I use a sherrill wingman for storing my pulley saver and various bits so its the only thing (apart from my saw and lanyard) hanging off my belt. Its larger than i had imagined it and was a bit wary about using it full time on my harness as it looked like it would get in the way a lot but due to its flat design it doesnt. Its triple the price of the stein bags but when you put them next to each other you see why. Very well made.
