Checking Timberwolf bearings?

I've done it a few times and if you are mechanically minded then its pretty straight forward. It helps having 2 people to lift the fly wheel while you get the bolts in though. If you can use a windy gun it makes it quicker.

I was quoted £850 3 years back to supply and fit bearings and new fans on a second hand machine I was thinking of buying,

I've just bought the fans for 150 quid the pair plus the bearings are standard at about 25 quid for 1 big and 2 little'uns. (plus a new anvil for 12 quid)

650 quid for 4 hours max?....... not for me to say.

Maybe the quote included the shaft and everything? The bearings are only cheap, but if you need the shaft and everything its about £400 I think.
