Hi Darrin and welcome,

 

I take it to retrieve after lowering, the climber must unclip the figure of eight and pull the line up himself as a groundy couldn't?

 

If there's a chance of the line falling off the shoulders while slack (before the weight comes on from the piece being cut) then locking up, i'd swop it for ISC 30kn figure of eight (stainless steel) | F R Jones and Son which i've used for lowering the chipper down a steep bank (CS100 before you panic!)

 

Not being picky - just my thoughts :thumbup1:
