yes i totally agree with you the older macs are best i got a 10-10 and a pro-mac 850 and it runs and cuts like hell its lovely to take out this loud beast out when your in an enclosed area and let rip and the sound bounces off everywhere :001_smile::biggrin:

i couldnt bring myself too go and buy a chinese saw so this one fitted the bill it is a perfect match too fit on the sawhorse when iam too lazy to lift the wood onto the sawbench

and if the 560 starts playing silly beggers it will have to help out lol

but time will tell how it lasts :lol::lol:

Haha I bought a Chinese saw as all I needed it for was firewood. It has paid for it's self so many times over in just one season !

I would be surprised if husky built a saw using "cheaper or inferior" parts. Most things are re branded now.

Posting anything about a saw that isn't stihl or husky is always going to get negative comments!

True, all of the new macs, j'reds, and all the other husky owned companies are just rebranded and recoloured now!

i spoke to a dealer last week who is getting me a new bar and chain for my sachs dolmar 133

and he put a 36" bar and chain on a standard of the shelf makita dcs7901 cutting a very large turkey oak butt and he was amazed how well the makita handled this bar so thumbs up:thumbup1::thumbup1:

and he sells husky and stihl as well

I can't see much similarity in those two saws pictured, except that they are both saws:001_smile:

Classic!

In a similar vein - I've repaired and run several Mcculloch strimmers and love them - in the case of these it's not the components at fault - opening them up all the problems stem from poor fitting - they seem to be put together by monkeys.
