i went down too abbey garden sales last week where i bought my 560 and got a 3/8 sprocket rim and a 18" pro lite bar and 3/8 chain

over the weekend i changed it over and i couldnt beleive the difference

honestly :thumbup: i just been felling some dead beech hedge trees around the parimeter fence of a new solar farm

i felt in hardwood the 325 wasnt giving the output i expected:thumbdown::thumbdown: but as soon as i changed them over wow it was like bacon and eggs

they were made for each other:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

its a seven tooth rim but it is a bigger in diameter a seven tooth .325 rim so it has that bit of a faster drive from the start and there is plenty of room for this sprocket

so at the moment all is fine

its behaving like a husky 61 on steroids:thumbup::thumbup:

Hi . Did you have to change the oil pump drive like you would on a 357 or is it not affected ?

Andy - the Husky rims are 19mm and 23mm in internal diameter - the 357 has the 19mm int dia rim, you just remove one and slide on the other on the same clutch drum.

The 3/8 7 pin rim is larger than the 0.325 7 pin but smaller than the 0.325 8 pin.

I may try using my 357 on a 3/8 chain - it would handle it as it has a bit more go then standard:blushing::lol:

Just looked at my stash of parts and not finding fault m8

Yea I had a 3/8 on my 357 and just remember having to change the plastic oil drive gear as it mates with the rim . wondered if it was the same set up on a 560 . to my shame I have to say Iv not looked at mine ! :blushing:

Yea I noticed the small plug . my dealer changed it to the next hotter rating to aid the hot starting probs . Re sprocket dia I tried mine on an 8 pin .325 and it cut fast on small stuff but if you went in on the full depth of an 18" bar the auto tune got all confused and shut it down . Went back to a standard 7 pin and it was fine . Makes better use of the torque on a 7 pin .
