Free to good home - koi fish

I am removing a pond from my garden that i have had for many years and i want to move the fish on to a new home.

There are 5 i want to give away but there are conditions! :

1. 'cause im old fashioned i want them to go somewhere thats suitable not just a small garden pond but suit large koi up to 18"...thus means a pond minimum of 500 gallons preferably more and needs a depth of 3feet min.

2. I am releuctant to sell them only because i took a lot of care and pride with these fish and i know similar enthusiasts would too. Equally i would hate to sell a fish with a disease that could infect others in an existing pond system and potentially cause harm. So if you have or know someone who has a new pond with NO fish as yet pm me.

If you cant stand the guilt of taking such nice fish away without payment, a nice gesture would be a donation to a charity.

"buyers" responsibility to collect from gloucester area and must provide means of transporting the fish.

In the unlikely event i get multiple offers... The lucky person will be the one that offers the best donation!

Should this be on arb trader lol???.

Have you messaged slackadder, i know hes got fish. Im no expert so would be best to mail him bud if he could help

Thanks for that.

If he already has fish...i would be reluctant to give them to him only because im worried about disease. But hopefully he might know someone!

Hi Mate

Catch 22 for you i'm afraid, put the fish in a new pond and they won't survive put them in an established pond and they might get diseased

My pond is 3200 gals and been established for 15 years

Gravity fed to a vortex and filter the fed up to a small top pond and down a gravel stream with water cress in it,back to main pond

I'll post a pic when I get chance to find one
