Large cypress removal

Just some pics from last week on subbie climbing takedown of a cypress.

Lots of targets :( x2 oil tanks directly underneath, telephone wire and electric supply to house running right under canopy, located very close to the building/roof. Some pipes and other wires running round the front and back of the tree to be avoided, and another oil tank to the right of the tree but a bit further round.

We did this tree when it was very very windy and it was a struggle as there wasnt any protection from other trees!

Everything lowered down to even the smallest branches, all natural crotch lowered as this company does, thus pegs on the stems, still to lower off one of the front stems and deal with the back one. Normal wire strop just a little short to go round the back stem.

From the rear stem i've took a 12ft top off and then an 8ft log.
