Safe contractor accreditation

H&S compliance within the construction industry has improved safety.

However, as an arb company going onto a construction site or working for larger companies etc. It is purely an arse covering exercise and I for one am sick of it.

You jump through hoops to get on an 'approved list' which doesn't mean you'll ever even be asked to quote.

You submit massive documents just to get on site.

You pay ridiculously fees to companies to 'assess' your company and most know nothing about arb.

Quite often you'll get questioned on site by a suit that has never seen a chainsaw before.

And what does it all mean? It all gets put in a folder on a shelf until there is an accident when it's pulled out and waived in the air as part of an arse covering exercise.

It'll all gone to far the other way now IMO.

Thanks for your helps guys, and yes i am only a small business (never employ more than 2 other people) so that template should do the job.

Barney
