Anyone know where to find a cheap copy on the web or when the revised version is gonna be printed as i dont wanna shell out £70.00 odd quid and find im 18 years out of date.

Hi treediver

I have just joined this great forum and can assist with an update on the progress of the revision of BS 3998. As of yesterday it was hoped to get the revision out for peer reviw by the end of the year and then publish early next year. Not really good news but I would not spend my money on an old version.

Thanks Steve it is good to be aboard. As you may know from my perch as ISA International President I am on a crusade to get better representation for tree climbers and tree workers who are the largest section of our industry but are patently under represented. Did you see my article in the latest ISA Arb Newsletter? If not it is reproduced on Treebuzz under I believe Thanks to Colin.
